So we are gathering for an elegant evening to honor him as the first recipient of our Peace Builder Award and raise funds to support our work.\n\n\n\n\n\nFor over forty-eight years\, Kevin has been a cornerstone of Michigan’s judicial system\, most notably through his leadership at the Ottawa County Circuit and Probate Courts\, where he worked tirelessly to promote fairness\, equity\, and integrity. While we’ve long admired his dedication and contributions here at home\, Kevin has continued to support several national\, state\, and local initiatives\, and his influence now extends far beyond our nation’s borders.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA GLOBAL LEGACY\n\n\n\n\n\nKevin’s “retirement” has been anything but quiet. His expertise on Artificial Intelligence along with mediation and ADR has taken him around the world.\n\n\n\n\n\nHighlights include:\n\n\n\n\n\nInternational Leadership: Serving as Chief Administrative Officer for the International Association of Court Administration and lending his skills to the Nigeria Justice Sector Assistance Project\n\n\n\n\n\nGlobal Impact: Presenting to representatives from 53 countries in Singapore on the promise and challenges of Artificial Intelligence in the courts.\n\n\n\n\n\nState Initiatives: Working with the Michigan Supreme Court “Justice for All” Commission and many other projects.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCelebrating with Purpose\n\n\n\n\n\nOn April 9\, 2026\, we will gather to recognize Kevin’s remarkable career and deep commitment to mediation to celebrate the enduring power of peace building\, a mission that lies at the very heart of Mediation Services.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe creation of this award honors Kevin’s steadfast support and underscores the vital role mediation plays in strengthening community\, understanding\, and hope.\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is a heartfelt tribute but also a fundraiser for Mediation Services. Proceeds will help advance our shared mission of fostering peaceful conflict resolution\, so we hope to see you there.
