DESCRIPTION:Have you ever bought anything online?  That’s how easy participating in Wings of Hope’s online auction will be! \nThe auction will begin a day or two ahead of Saturday\, May 16th and will end in the later evening on May 16th.  This gives you a lot of time to shop and look at all the items. \nTo get to the auction\, click the link on the Wings of Hope website (www.wingsofhopehospice.com) or go to our Facebook page.  Once there you can register by creating an account with your name and phone number (and credit card if you’d like to pay that way).  Then move on to browsing and bidding. \nBidding is similar to Ebay.  You can either bid the highest amount you want to pay up front\, and it will only increase as people bid against you.  Or you can watch and continue entering bids.  You will be notified by text if you are outbid.  You can also look at your account and see which items you are winning at that moment. \nWhen the auction ends you can pay for the items you have won all at the same time.  Payment can be made with check or credit card. \nHere’s a list of some of the items that have been donated that you will be able to bid on: \n\nWeek stay in UP cabin\nState of the art TV package with accessories\nPatio furniture\nArt\nJewelry\nCertificates to local restaurants\, golf\, skiing\, sporting events\nFish fry for 40\nPig roast for 75\nBBQ dinner for 50\nConcert tickets\nLandscape/garden items\nTimeshare\nAllegan County Fair package\nHealth/beauty items\nBeautiful handmade items\n\nAnd\, as always\, you can also purchase days of care and raffle tickets.  I hope you can join us and support the work of Wings of Hope!

We are now part of the nation’s largest Catholic nonprofit healthcare system and we also gained a new name – Ascension Borgess Allegan Hospital. We celebrated a new year full of new beginnings and promising futures for our patients\, providers and staff only to be halted by the COVID-19 pandemic. \n\nWe are all navigating uncharted waters with new safety guidelines that flow into our personal and professional lives. While many things have changed and will continue to change\, we do have some exciting news to share with you – our 29th Annual Charity Golf Classic will be held as originally planned on Thursday\, August 6 at Cheshire Hills Golf Course! \n\nKeeping our players\, volunteers and Cheshire Hills staff members safe during our Charity Golf Classic is our top priority. With ongoing concerns regarding COVID-19\, we recognize that this situation is still fluid and we will strictly adhere to all directives of the Governor’s Office\, as well as rely on the guidance of Ascension Michigan and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. You will notice some changes with this year’s outing\, however\, we will do our very best to make our outing as safe as possible while we continue to raise vital funds for the Ascension Borgess Allegan Foundation (formerly Allegan General Hospital Foundation). All proceeds from past outings have directly impacted education\, patient and family support services\, and clinical advancements for our local community hospital\, Ascension Borgess Allegan. DESCRIPTION:AUCTION CLOSES SATURDAY\, OCTOBER 3 @ 9:00 PM\nThree years ago\, Joe died suddenly at age 43. He was passionate at about helping others.  To honor his legacy\, this scholarship was established in his name to annually award a scholarship to an Allegan High School senior that exhibits the strength of character Joe embodied.  This scholarship has already awarded over $7\,500 to students that are generous\, outgoing\, community-minded\, forward-thinking\, have a sense of humor that engages people\, and welcoming to everyone. \nWithout the ability to embrace the downtown Allegan community this year\, we have moved our fundraising efforts online! This is the only fundraiser Team Kavanagh will run this year and everyone coming together to honor Joe and raise money to advance young people to help achieve their dreams is exactly what Joe would do.  We sincerely thank you for being a part of this event and hope you take a moment to remember Joe and live by his example…at least some of his examples! \nClick HERE for more information and Silent Auction
