DESCRIPTION:Wings of Hope Hospice is sponsoring a Death Café.  This event is a part of a growing worldwide phenomenon where people\, often strangers\, gather to talk about death and eat good food. \nThe objective of Death Café is to ‘increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives’.  Death Café was founded by Jon Underwood in England in 2011 based on the work of Bernard Crettaz\, a Swiss sociologist.  Lizzy Miles was the first person to offer Death Café in the U.S. \nIndividuals may participate according to their level of comfort.  The conversation will be thoughtful\, respectful\, and confidential. \nThis is a virtual event via Zoom.

DESCRIPTION:The Night of Hope Auction is Wings of Hope’s largest fundraiser of the year. Due to the current state of affairs\, the auction has moved to an online version once again this year and we’re looking forward to this fun spin on our special event.  Bidding will open at 9am on Thursday\, May 13 and will close on May 15 at 9pm.  Lots of time to browse and bid. \nThis means you can still help us raise a significant amount of money for Wings of Hope Hospice patients from the comfort of your own home!
