SUMMARY:Carnival Kayak Run- Lake Allegan
DESCRIPTION:The Lake Allegan Carnival Kayak Run is an inaugural event that will take place on beautiful Lake Allegan. This non-competitive family friendly event involves kayakers paddling from one station to another\, while also participating in a variety of carnival games at each station. A non-alcoholic beverage and a snack will be provided at each station. Tickets will be awarded and a prize drawing will be held at the end of the event.\nThe event runs from Noon until approximately 4pm on Saturday\, August 17th. Kayak drop offs at Luis’ Landing can begin as early as 10:00 a.m but stations will not be open until noon. Limited parking available. Once launched\, kayakers should proceed to the nearest station to begin the run.\nAt each station\, the kayakers will disembark from their kayaks and participate in a carnival game such as Plinko©\, Nerf© shooting gallery\, maze ball\, or a brain teaser puzzle. The games are designed to test the kayakers’ skills and add an element of fun to the event. Tickets for the prize drawings will be awarded for each game and collected at the end of the event.\nAfter completing each station\, the kayakers climb back into their kayaks and paddle on to the next station. This event is for kayakers and canoeists of all ages. It’s a chance to enjoy the lake\, socialize with your neighbors and win prizes too.\nAfter completing the stations\, make your way to Luis’ Landing for the awarding of prizes and socializing. Tickets will be collected and drawn randomly. Only one prize per participant. Get your picture taken with the official mascot “Sporty the Clown” and try your hand at some other games if you desire.\nThe Lake Allegan Kayak Carnival Run is a one-of-a-kind event that combines kayaking\, carnival games and beautiful scenery to create an unforgettable experience for all. We hope to see you there.\nPre-registration will be required as the event will be limited to 50 participants. Wristbands will be $5.00 and can be purchased online through our website at https://www.lakeallegan.org
