SUMMARY:Red Turtle Run
DESCRIPTION:What better way to kick off the summer than to run a beautiful route in the one of a kind city of Allegan.  The first ever Red Turtle Runs are a special event designed to bring people together to enjoy the views of Allegan as well as our wonderful State Game Area.  The name of the runs comes from the Eastern Red Box Turtle that is becoming highly endangered that was seen on a training run on one of the trails in the state game area.  The turtle was seen collecting some sun in the middle of the trail and moved at\, what we like to call\, “race pace” to get away. \n5k and 10k runs will take place downtown starting and finishing on the Allegan Riverfront. The courses will provide a few hills but nothing that is too challenging. Upon finishing\, Bridgefest will be happening with activities for all ages.  Proceeds from this run will be donated to MEMBA for trail maintenance in the Allegan State Game Area. Make sure to register by May 20th to ensure you get a shirt.

Instruction will be given in how to paint on glass and how to create this bloom using multi surface paints. You will finish your glasses and may have some wait time for drying. You will take your glasses home and set it in the oven (directions will be provided at class). DESCRIPTION:Run with friends or make some new ones! The established group that meets typically do 2-6 mile runs in different groups\, ranging from a 9-12 minute mile\, but they are adaptable. The goal is to make sure nobody runs alone. The routes will vary\, starting and ending at Tantrick.
