DESCRIPTION:Evening of Recognition\, the Allegan Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual community awards gala\, will be held on Thursday\, February 22\, 2018\, in the Grand Ballroom at The Silo.  This event celebrates individuals\, organizations\, and businesses that represent the best of Allegan.  New businesses\, new owners of current businesses\, and those that have demonstrated their commitment to the Allegan area through relocation\, expansion\, and renovation will also be recognized. \nPromote your business and show your support the Allegan Community with a table sponsorship.  Other sponsorship opportunities available: Contact the Chamber at 269-673-2479 for details. \nThe event begins at 5:00 PM (cash bar available) with an opportunity to catch up with old friends\, meet new acquaintances\, and network with the Allegan business community.  Attendees will enjoy a plated meal prepared by the The Silo’s accomplished kitchen staff at 6:00 PM\, with the awards ceremony immediately following.  Ticket prices are $30.00/individual or $280.00/table (seating for 10).  Meatless or other dietary considerations are available (please request when purchasing tickets).

DESCRIPTION:Irish eyes will be smilin’ on March 17 as the 2018 Allegan EXPO is scheduled for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration.  The event will be held at The Silo Banquets and Catering from 10:00 AM -2:00 PM. \nEXPO is a great opportunity to showcase your products and services\, book home parties\, build your contact list\, and introduce yourself to more than 1000 attendees.  EXPO features live\, local entertainment\, the ever-popular kid’s corner\, emergency vehicle display\, a smorgasbord of samples from area eateries\, free giveaways and drawings.  The Chamber is continuing the EXPO Expedition game (BINGO-type game to drive attendees to your booth) and the “Now Hiring” pennants if your business is accepting applications for non-contract employees. \nAvailable again this year is a demonstration/performance area in the lower level near the entrance.  This may be used to demonstrate your product\, or offer an educational presentation about one of your services.  This space may also be used for small dance troupes\, musical ensembles\, karate/personal protection demonstrations\, etc..  Contact the Chamber if you are interested in utilizing that space. \nBooth pricing is unchanged from last year’s event – Allegan Area Chamber of Commerce Members ($65 by February 16; $75 after) and Non-members ($115.00 by February 17; $130.00 after).  Premier Sponsor spaces are available: Call for details. \nMore information available soon online at alleganchamber.com.  Please contact the Allegan Area Chamber of Commerce with questions – director@alleganchamber.com; or call\, 269-673-2479.
