DESCRIPTION:The Intro to Knitting class is taught by Charles Clark II\, aka The Knit Dude. In this class you will learn the basic skills of putting the stitches on the needles\, how to work those stitches using a variety of techniques and how to take the stitches off the needles.  We will even discuss how to “finish” the sample you will knit in class.  Traditionally this is known as casting on\, knitting the knit\, purl and garter stitches\, casting off and weaving in the ends. \nNo experience is needed but you will need to purchase your yarn and needles to take the class for free. In this class you will learn the basic skills of putting the stitches on the needles\, how to work those stitches using a variety of techniques and how to take the stitches off the needles.  We will even discuss how to “finish” the sample you will knit in class.  Traditionally this is known as casting on\, knitting the knit\, purl and garter stitches\, casting off and weaving in the ends. \nNo experience is needed but you will need to purchase your yarn and needles to take the class for free.
