DESCRIPTION:Join The Fight Against Domestic Violence\nWHY: October is domestic violence awareness month.  The color purple has long been associated with the fight to end domestic violence.  Wearing purple helps raise awareness of this issue and is also a way to honor the victims and survivors\, both past and present.  This year\, our goal is to raise awareness of teen dating violence. \nTHE RULES: The company\, organization\, or department who has the highest percentage of participation will be named the winner.  Percentage will be calculated by the number of staff members who are wearing a visible purple item divided by the total number of staff members employed in the company\, organization\, or department.  If a staff member is absent from work this day\, they can still participate by sending photographic proof that they are wearing purple.  To enter\, you must complete the registration form below and submit it via email to jkamps@allegancounty.org by Friday\, October 5\, 2018\, at 5:00 pm. \n\nYou can receive bonus points by posting a photograph of your staff in purple on social media\, website\, etc.\nYou can receive bonus points by posting the enclosed flyer in your office\, which informs the public on why your group is wearing purple.\nBonus points will be calculated as one additional percentage.
