Lake Michigan College’s five-week MIG/TIG Welding course will prepare students to apply for many local skilled manufacturing jobs. The hands-on classes cover various gas metal arc welding (MIG) processes, including solid wire, and flux-core with emphasis on metal inert gas welding, as well as providing entry level experience in gas tungsten arc welding (TIG).
Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from January 24 to February 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Allegan Tech Center located at 2891 116th Avenue. The course costs $359.
