Santa’s sleigh is polished and ready! He has marked Friday, December 4 at 7 p.m. on his busy holiday calendar to remind him of his appearance in downtown Allegan at the annual Making Spirits Bright Holiday Parade. Area children expecting to see Santa should stand along Locust, Trowbridge, and Hubbard Streets to welcome him.

Santa invites you, too, to be part of the parade that will line up beginning at 6 p.m. on December 4 in the Perrigo parking lot on Brady Street. While you can just show up on parade night, if you know you are going to participate, please register your group, non-profit, business, or even group of friends by filling out the parade registration form at Allegan City Hall, or register online by following the link https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JC67S2K.

Lighted floats, decorated cars or trucks, and walkers dressed in the holiday spirit are all welcome. Because the theme is “Making Spirits Bright”, entries with music, lights, and handouts for children are encouraged.
