Holland Michigan Kennel Club Mission Statement:

• The  betterment of purebred dogs
•  To encourage sportsmanlike conduct and competition at dog shows
•  To educate the public in the care, training and breeding of purebred dogs

The Holland Michigan Kennel Club was founded in 1974 by a small group of dedicated purebred dog fanciers interested in establishing an AKC licensed All Breed Kennel Club in the greater Holland area.   Some of the things offered:

• Monthly Meetings

HMKC is proud of its rapid growth within the community.  As a Non-Profit Organization, the HMKC has contributed to, or organized, the following:

• Contributions to Michigan State Veterinary College
• Contributor/Member MSU Pure-bred Dog Endowment Fund
• Contributer for Ottawa County Sheriff Dept. Drug Dog Fund
• Contributor to Allegan County Sheriff Dept. Canine Fund
• Allegan County Fairground Building Fund
• American Dog Owners Association
• Ottawa County 4-H Dog Awards Program Contributor
