Please help the Allegan Area Community Foundation welcome Sara Ruiter, the newest member to join their team! Sara comes to us with over 20 years of knowledge and experience in the not-for-profit sector as a licensed master’s level social worker. Sara brings a diverse knowledge base to the foundation including community outreach, program development and management, and international child protection and welfare programming.

She has worked in the developing world, including Eastern Europe and multiple countries on the continent of Africa, for over a decade and is passionate about partnering with local communities to positively impact their people and places. Sara’s new role at the foundation is as our Donor and Corporate Engagement Officer in which she will be pursuing partnerships with local businesses and individuals to achieve their philanthropic goals.
