Join Community Action of Allegan County (CAAC) in supporting Allegan County this holiday season through the power of giving!

CAAC is kicking off the giving season now with its yearly collection of gifts and household necessities for seniors and families.

The agency will be delivering holiday bags to over 100 homebound senior citizens throughout Allegan County. Many seniors do not have family or friends to celebrate the holidays with. Sometimes the only contact they have with people is our Home Delivered Meal or Volunteer Transportation drivers. The small bag of gifts they are able to provide them means so much as it is often their only holiday gift.

For the children and families, they collect toys for children aged 0-18 and allow the parents to shop through the items for their children. They also are able to provide things like wrapping paper, tape, blankets, hats, gloves, and even a frozen dinner for the families to enjoy together!

If you are wanting to donate items, please drop them off at our main office (323 Water Street, Allegan). More collection sites throughout the county will be announced soon! Follow along on Facebook as they announce more information on the drive.

If you are wanting to make a cash donation, they will gladly do the shopping.
