The Allegan Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is honored to announce the 2021 Spirit of Allegan Award Recipients. The Chamber has recognized businesses, organizations, and individuals who have made impactful contributions to life in the Allegan community annually since 1982.
The 2021 slate of award winners includes Gun Lake Casino (Business of The Year, sponsored by Perrigo), Steve & Jana Tibbitts (Lifetime Achievement, sponsored by The Grill House), Wings Home (Community Service Organization), and the Allegan County Health Department (President’s Award, sponsored by Tibbitts Financial Consulting). Award presentations will occur at the Spirit of Allegan Awards Luncheon on Thursday, September 23, 12:00 PM at The Silo Banquets & Catering.
The 2020 Spirit of Allegan Award winners will also be celebrated at this year’s luncheon as the event was canceled last year due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Those award recipients include The Grocery Outlet Store (Business of The Year, sponsored by Perrigo), Linda Blankenship (Lifetime Achievement, sponsored by Tibbitts Financial Consulting), Hungry for Christ (Community Service Organization), and Larry Wood, Allegan Antiques Market (President’s Award).
The Chamber hopes that you will join us on Thursday, September 23 for the Spirit of Allegan Awards Luncheon at The Silo Banquets & Catering. Lunch will be served at noon with the awards ceremony beginning at 12:20. It is the Chamber’s intent to conclude the luncheon at 1:00 PM; however, as we are also recognizing the 2020 award winner, the banquet could stretch a little beyond that. Tickets are $20.00/person or $160.00/table (seating for 8).
Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Event Sponsorship starts as low as $50.00 or sponsor a table – Event Sponsorship with the inclusion of eight tickets to the event – for $200.
